All ready with nowhere to go....yet.

Jacob, all dressed up in his white shirt, tie and "future missionary" badge, came with us to our missionary interviews. We wanted him to remember this day and look forward to the day that he will go for his own missionary interview. This is the reason why we go: So that our children will remember and have the desire and strength to remain faithful in all things.

Sleeping over

We had the 3 older grandkids, who live in the area, on Friday night for a sleepover. It made us wish, all over again, that we had them ALL living close by. We watched princess movies, made sponge animals, had pizza, popcorn, and slept in a tent that we made out of sheets and couches. They did have a good time and we loved having them. The best part is that we can keep them up late and then send them back to their homes grouchey. Payback!!! Alyssa and Paige are the best of friends and the worst of enemies. They always have a grand time going from bedroom to bedroom messing up the beds and using them as trampolines. Here they are using my window seat cushion as a slide. What fun! But, watch out should one of them want something that the other one has.

The Journey Begins...........

This week we "pushed the button". Yes, it is official. We pushed the button which submitted our application for our second mission. I don't know much about blogging but I would like to keep up a blog so that those we love can keep up with our lives the next 1 1/2 years. This begins the next chapter in our lives.
